PAX Hightlights

Covyne Entertainment made its first public appearance at PaxAus 2023 with an Alpha gameplay demo. This demo was just one room of a nine-room dungeon so it didn't take long for players to complete the game. On average the room took players 8 minutes to complete and gave them a good taste of the game.

Pax provided us with a unique opportunity to receive feedback from a diverse range of gamers. Players of all ages and backgrounds shared their thoughts and suggestions on their experience playing the demo. We got to see how players found their way around the UI, what worked well, and what could work better, and we will be endeavoring to implement many of the suggestions we received. We were happy to see that even the younger players were keen to have a play and they seemed to understand the game mechanics without too much coaching.

Right now, we are actively working on completing the full beta demo that will contain the nine rooms of the first dungeon. This demo will initially be released to a closed group of players. If you played the demo and joined our mailing list, you will be one of those lucky ones to be a part of the closed beta testers. We'd like to thank all those who visited our booth and played the game. If you would like to be part of the closed beta, please join our mailing list as everyone on that list will be offered a key to download and play.

As PAXAus 2023 came to a close, we left with a wealth of feedback and felt the entire experience was very positive and we are excited to attend future events such as these.
